Recipe of the Week: South Italian Braciole.

Ricetta della Settimana: Braciola di Maiale del Sud Italia.

                       

Ingredients

Carne

  • 1 1/2 lbs Braciole meat or flank steak

Frutta e verdura

  • 2 tbsp Basil, fresh leaves
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Italian parsley, fresh leaves
  • 1 Onion, large

Condimenti

  • 3 cups Classic marinara sauce

Pasta e cereali

  • 1 Spaghetti

Lievito e spezie

  • 1/2 tsp Red pepper flakes
  • 1 Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Oli e aceti

  • 4 tbsp Olive oil

Noci e semi

  • 1/4 cup Pine nuts, toasted

Pane e forno

  • 1/2 cup Italian-style bread crumbs, dried

Latticini

  • 2/3 cup Parmesan, grated
  • 1/2 cup Provolone, grated

Birra, vino e liquori

  • 1/2 cup White wine, dry
